Awakening, 3/13/09

The first signs of spring are beginning to show in Portland. It’s been one wacky winter here. I lost count of how many times we saw snow on the valley floor this year. The thermometer is creeping up, ever so slowly, but every little bit is something to celebrate. Hurray!

Wonderful green and puple colors. I walked around my upsate NY town yesterday as the thermometer hit 50! Alas, no color and growing things yet. Next month.
