Bus Stop, 1/26/08

The thing I like about using a point and shoot is that you can get these kind of cool, gritty looking photos. Sometimes, I think they can be interesting. I like this one.

  1. A yellow hoodie & blue jeans on the right; the number four; the words “the met”; something else yellow on the left. It intrigues me, I wanna know what’s going on here. At first I thought “liquor store”, now I wonder if the met is a Metro train station. I like the the sharp and blurry live together in this photo. Not too dissimilar to life itself.

  2. Most urban shots have a cold, stark feeling to them. This one has warmth AND motion, and nice combo. It’s also a tad mysterious and yet familiar. I like the angle, too.

  3. Hi Derryn! Tri-Met is the name of the bus company in Portland. This is a bus stop.
