Dory and Marlin are here to spend July with you! This was taken at Epcot near The Seas with Nemo and Friends.

You will need to have Adobe Reader on your computer to download the calendar(s). Just click on the photo to download the calendar you want. When printing CD Jewel Case size, make sure “Page Scaling” in your print dialogue box is set to “None” to ensure that the calendar prints out at the correct size.

This one prints out at 8.5″ x 11″. It’s handy if you need a calendar that you can write on.

This one prints out at 4.75″ x 4.75″, the perfect size for a CD Jewel Case frame.

And finally, this desktop wallpaper is for your monitor screen.

Watch for updates on my facebook page. I’ll post a link when each month’s new calendar is posted.

Thank you for taking the time to visit this blog. It’s been quite awhile since I have posted here. Unfortunately, I have learned that there just isn’t time to do everything I want to do all of the time. Lately, much of my time has been focused on living a more healthy lifestyle. It’s been really good for me, but I have found that I needed to let some things go and this blog ended up on the chopping block. I haven’t deleted it because I may just find that I feel like posting something every now and then. But until then, if you want to see my photography, please head over to my gallery. Until next time…

Latourell Falls
The Path to Latourell Falls, 4/4/09

I am blessed to live less than 30 minutes from the Columbia River Gorge. This morning I took a ride out to the gorge hoping to get some shots of the fog before it burned off. Unfortunately, the fog lifted quickly, but I still had a wonderful time hiking and photographing some of the waterfalls. I spent quite a bit of my time at Latourell Falls, the first one I came upon.

Scenic Oregon Coastline
Scenic Oregon Coastline, 11/7/07

The weather here has been just crappy lately so my camera hasn’t been seeing much action. For this post I went looking through some older  photos in search of something to remind me that it isn’t always like this. I took this on the central Oregon coast. Now this is why I live here!

Just a Cool Tree
Just a Cool Tree, 3/27/09

I love this tree. It lives in Crystal Springs Rhododendrum Park in Portland. I always have to take a few photos of it when I visit that park. Here’s a completely different view of it that I took almost a year ago.

Lovely Pair
Lovely Pair, 2/16/09

Did you know that pears are the state fruit of Oregon? Near Hood River, thousands of acres of pears flourish in the Columbia River Gorge beneath the snowcapped peak of Mt. Hood. Soon, the pear orchards will be in bloom with that gorgeous mountain behind them. I can’t wait!

Chocolate Cream Pie
Chocolate Cream Pie, 3/13/09

I’ve made a dangerous new discovery. I won a raffle last week and the prize was a freshly made pie from Random Order, a coffeehouse within walking distance of my house. They bake 22 different kinds of pie. I chose this chocolate cream pie that is made with 3 different kinds of chocolate and fresh whipped cream. Wow! It’s incredible! It tastes amazing – rich, light and creamy with a yummy, flaky crust. Oh man, I’m in trouble.

Crocus Bouquet
Awakening, 3/13/09

The first signs of spring are beginning to show in Portland. It’s been one wacky winter here. I lost count of how many times we saw snow on the valley floor this year. The thermometer is creeping up, ever so slowly, but every little bit is something to celebrate. Hurray!

Pambiche
Pambiche, 3/8/09

We seem to have a lot of colorful buildings here in Portland, maybe to take attention away from the rainy winter days. This one, on Glisan and 28th, houses Pambiche, a great Cuban restaurant.

Tom Cramer Mural
Art Wall, 3/6/09

This mural is by the artist Tom Cramer. It’s on the side of Ciao Vito, a restaurant on NE Alberta in Portland. I’m still working on my color assignment – can you tell?
